Square (https://squareup.com/) is a payment processing company that has been on the rise for a while. It would be great if you could allow for them to be accepted through checkout for credit card processing.

Thanks!

Hello Elijah! Check out https://mybeastportal.com We're also on the Market place. I'm finishing up Recurring payments as I write this comment :)
Why are you posting spam?
I'm not :) I've developed a Square Gateway module, that is supporting Recurring payments. I'm not sure if WHMCS is making a gateway or not for this, but we offer one.
Yes I need this module urgently.
Hello Michael! Check out https://mybeastportal.com We're also on the Market place. I'm finishing up Recurring payments as I write this comment :)
I use square in my local business and it's awesome. It does everything I need it too offline with the card reader etc. Would be awesome to be able to use this as a substitute or in addition to PayPal and such!

Please WHMCS! There are so many people +1 it. Please add it!
Yes, much better than PayPal, so many of my customers do not trust PayPal.
I would also really like to see this as a built in payment module. The only reason we use stripe is for the WHMCS integration. It would be nice to be able to have the option to switch over.
There's a paid module out there, but I can't even afford that. I've tried looking into the API. I'm learning API's just by using the Licensing Addon for WHMCS. At my website bestphpscripts.com I use the licensing addon to build php software :)
Square is the next up and coming payment processer and would be good to see a in house version
Can we beta it? I'd LOVE to see this integrated. IF you develop it, and don't have the license addon.. I could help you license the script, and I could ioncube it for you!
We @logicmaker already developed Square Payment gateway module long ago. You can check it at : https://github.com/big89/whmcs-square-payment-gateway
I can't afford that :( I'd love to find one already incorporated into WHMCS though!
It's not a matter of free or paid- its a matter of native vs 3rd party. Subscriptions is CRITICAL for domain and hosting renewals. The one suggested by logicmaker does not work with subscriptions. This needs to be a native function that supports all of WHMCS billing options cooperatively with Square's features.
Mine does billing. I'm going to see about trying to incorporate subscriptions. I've really got a handle on working with API's now, so I'll see what I can come up with. Maybe even logicmaker could implement that!
FYI, @Ken Granger, @Michael Foland We are already implemented One Time Subscription/Recurring, Refunds and customers card management in our module, which any of other gateways support in WHMCS. This is our product which is currently no one is providing.
Best luck to @mfoland that he will definitely come up with their solution. If you wants, can reply our email of module enquiry. Also, if you can't afford our pricing, we will provide you special discount.
Oh man yes please. +1
Would be good to have this.
This is definitely needed. I use Square. I have a module for it, but the forms do not work. It would be nice to have something built for square.
I agree with most of not all of the comments here! Square I've used in my local service business for a good year now and they have not failed me once. The day before a public holiday I do work and my money still goes in the next day on the public holiday instead of waiting till the next working day. The card reader had lasted me the year and yet the previous 5 payment processor companies I've used their reader has malfunctions out the wazoo. Square has all accounting built in so no need to hook up whmcs to myob online or quick books.

It's a perfect choice to add square to the list of approved gateways. I don't want to touch any of the others except PayPal so they are useless to me.

Please WHMCS. Add square!
Would love to see Square added as an approved gateway option for payment modules. This would really help web hosts, agency and those that want to move away from PayPal. Square is very friendly. Square handles everything from payment processing to payroll and more. Ot would merry very well with WHMCS for the perfect solution for our business. Please do consider adding this feature add-on with WHMCS. Please get on this ASAP. Thanks!
It appears the gateway in the Marketplace is not being supported with the most recent version of WHMCS. Square just did a native integration with Woocommerce and it's awesome! I hope to see WHMCS do this ASAP
Totally agree Ken, the WooCommerce integration is spot on. Hopefully, WHMCS will follow suit and include Square as they are an excellent provider.
I'd really appreciate having this feature in all honesty. Square handles everything from payment processing to payroll, being able to use it for my company would make things 100x easier overall.
Agreed with all the above
We recently switched from PayPal Payment Pro to Square and would like to see the Square Gateway added through the WHMCS Control Panel.
We have developed Square Payment Gateway Module for WHMCS using Official
E-Commerce API Provided by Square. It provides Square Hosted Checkout
Page. This module is with double verification of payment status after
redirect to merchant website.

Let me know if anyone wants to test it.
Hey, we would be very interested to try this out. Please let us know if we can help :)
Hello, you can contact us at : [email protected]
We have developed Square Payment Gateway Module for WHMCS using Official E-Commerce API Provided by Square. It provides Square Hosted Checkout Page. This module is with double verification of payment status after redirect to merchant website.

The module developed by Zachary matar (https://bizzahost.com/) on WHMCS Marketplace is not compatible for all WHMCS users, as this requires PCI compliance. Its simply based on Square API which accepts customer card details on merchant website.

Let me know if anyone wants to test it.
