Square (https://squareup.com/) is a payment processing company that has been on the rise for a while. It would be great if you could allow for them to be accepted through checkout for credit card processing.
We have developed Square Payment Gateway Module for WHMCS using Official E-Commerce API Provided by Square. It provides Square Hosted Checkout Page. This module is with double verification of payment status after redirect to merchant website.
The module developed by Zachary matar (https://bizzahost.com/) on WHMCS Marketplace is not compatible for all WHMCS users, as this requires PCI compliance. Its simply based on Square API which accepts customer card details on merchant website.
Let me know if anyone wants to test it.

This would be a great addition I love square and I am already set up in square. I do not want to have to re-set up everything in another processor.

I've used Square forever and would love to see it as an option built in to WHMCS.

I LOVE Square, now they even support invoicing, and much more. Growing all the time.
Plus cheaper rates: 2.75% available, of course that is for swiped, so not possible online, but their rates are the same if online, 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. But they do 1 day deposits and instant deposits for 1% of the total you deposit instantly... it is awesome.

Are you using the Square payment gateway though? Don't misunderstand us, we have nothing against Square Company or their rates. Transaction (if we use them) are done manually. We removed the "Square Payment Gateway from Whmcs" If you're using the payment gateway successfully, we tip our hat to you, for we just could never get it to work for us. We had major issues ranging from it not working at all when clients use FireFox browser and 'not' changing any processing fees. It (the Square payment gateway) was a constant headache for us. that is why we removed it.

Richard Stripe is cheaper than this - but the deposits are slower (5 days) Which is not of a concern for us.
We do some processing for square with and without the dong...

Yes, we are already providing it since long ago, which you was also asking us for on DM.
The logicmaker 3rd party tool is not an option- it does not work with subscriptions... their website talks about woocommerce on the WHMCS page... not a good solution for something so critical as payment processing.

I'd love to have Square as an option. I now use this exclusively over PayPal after they began some shady activity.

We removed Square payment gateway from our system as an option. We had ongoing issues from invoice amounts being paid with different amounts. Would not process if client uses FireFox browser. Just more problems than it was worth.

They have an ecommerce API that makes them comparable to Stripe. I'd like to see native support for Square as I use them for my offline processing and it would be so much easier than having to mess with 2 processors.
