Concurring and adding some color: The current behavior undermines the very purpose of sending the emails. See, the goal is to notify people when there are problems. 99% of the days, there are no problems. But 100% of days, we get an email. There's no way that a WHMCS administrator just lets these fall into their inbox. Almost certainly people write rules to file the messages away in some folder, if not delete them outright. It means that on the rare occasion that something DOES go wrong, there is no way this email is going to be the thing that tells me. The emails are getting shunted off to a folder somewhere unread. There is literally no point in having cron send mails at all, the way it is currently written. It wastes time, energy, bandwidth, etc. and it definitely does not accomplish its goal, which is to alert me to a problem.
