Hello There
Whould be nice if we had a future to test SMTP connection like when we test add server. I have create a print to show how.
And also this should be inspected by a cron, so if we for some reason change our email passord and we forgot to update it on WHMCS we could miss new emails until we realized that something is going wrong.
This future would be a must for everyone and also get WHMCS better.

As part of our work refactoring and expanding email sending options in v8.0, an email connection tester has been added when modifying email provider settings.
This is located under Configuration > System Settings > General Settings > Mail tab > Configure Mail Provider.
