Secondary email for cPanel when cPanel account created

Is it possible to have WHMCS add a secondary email address when creating cPanel accounts (eg our email)?
We run a managed hosting services, so we need to be getting notifications on behalf our clients about Disk usage.
At the moment when WHMCS create the cPanel account, it uses the client's email - so we're left out of the loop.

This option is not currently available to us via the cPanel API: https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/DD/WHM+API+1+Functions+-+createacct
However should this change in future, we could certainly re-consider.
