Frequently, and to our great annoyance, people seem to just love having stupid images in their email signature. This might be social media icons, or a logo, or something else from their branding.
When creating and replying to tickets, this image becomes an attachment. Which would be fine if it weren't on every single damned message they send!
It would be great if there were some mechanism to help us prevent the image from being attached repeatedly. Here are some suggested solutions:
1. Auto-detecting when an image is part of a signature and don't attach it to the message (may be hard to differentiate)
2. Detect when the exact same image filename and filesize is used on repeated replies, and stop attaching it automatically after the second or third reply.
3. Provide the admin with the option to block an image - probably based on filename and filesize together.
