From the Automation settings, we can specify if WHMCS should automatically delete clients after X number of months.
This is a great feature but it needs to notify the client before deleting their account.

A lot of companies will send an email to the client a month before their account is due to be deleted, notifying them that if they do not use their account within the next 30 days, their account will be deleted.

I don't see why WHMCS shouldn't do this.

Absolutely agree. An automatic account deletion feature should always include a clear advance notification to the client, ideally 30 days before deletion, giving them enough time to log in, reactivate their account, or recover any important data. This is a solid point. WHMCS definitely needs a pre-deletion notification system. It's a basic courtesy and good business practice to inform clients before their data is gone. Imagine losing your high score in Slope Game because of an unannounced account deletion – frustration amplified! Notifying clients before their accounts are automatically deleted shows professionalism and helps maintain a good relationship with customers. If WHMCS could integrate this feature, it would definitely benefit both parties. I hope this suggestion gets considered soon!

Sending a reminder before automatic deletion should be a standard feature. It’s a simple way to improve user experience and avoid losing clients who might still want to keep their accounts active.

Many gambling websites https://crashcatalog.com/ already follow this approach, and it definitely feels more professional and user-friendly.
