We desperately need to be able to use ONE login for multiple billing accounts.
I'd prefer a username and password login, after which the client could view each of their billing accounts.
We have multiple clients who have multiple businesses, but only want to use one email for correspondence. Changing WHMCS to utilize username/password instead of email/password would allow us to create seperate billing accounts under the same contact.
No sub accounts won't suffice, no forwarders are not a solution, and yes we do have more than one client who needs this.
Create Master Reseller Tag in WHMCS giving ability to setup multiple clients tagged to Master Reseller as secondary contact.Ideal for IT Companies who support multiple customers and have only the one (1) email address to use for all their customer/partner requests like [email protected]
and WHMCS does not allow the same email entered twice.Master Reseller/Assigned Reseller would be much like the Affiliate Tag but with additional powers/permissions.
Separating companies and contacts and associating them.
I think a great feature would be making it so company profiles are standalone and not dependent on a contact, and that you would add a contact separately, then associate it to the company. Currently, a profile seems dependent on a First and Last name—the company name is optional. However, as most folks who use this software would be B2B businesses, their customers—I assume—are more likely be companies, whose employees come and go. So creating a profile for a business, that's associated to a specific person seems it could be an an administrative nightmare when that person leaves. I see that you can add additional contacts to the profile, which is a great interim solution, but keeping them separate entirely would be a better practice. In my instance where this is an issue, my project contact is the main contact on the company profile, so the invoices have his name on it, and I'd rather it just have the company name. Insightly does a really good job of this separation and association in their CRM.Currently, you can create a profile without a First and Last Name, but it shows a blank where the name would be, (see screenshot) which seems like it could get confusing on different screens. You guys to great work, thank you so much!
