After revisiting privacy policies recently it would appear that making use of reCAPTCHA for form protection isn't an easy service to defend in a privacy policy for various obvious "obfuscated" reasons.
Have noted there is an hcaptcha feature request which is sounds like a better alternative to reCAPTCHA at present.
This suggestion is for honey pot form fields that are admin defined in such an admin defines defines the name removing standard prediction of implementation, the field is added as hidden, if the field is filled in a success notification or equivalent is given on submission & the contents of the form are not submitted.
An alternative approach would be a similar implementation although making use of conditional logic forms thereby addressing two concerns or features.
