Please consider a direct SSL integration with gogetssl. They are a massive reseller of certs and already have a plugin that could be brought into the new integration system.

Also make sure to suppoer ACME / certbot integration, as SSL lifetime will be gradually reduced to 90 days within the next couple of years!
