Filtering Email Imported using Google OAuth Integration

There is something I believe is worth bringing to your attention.

So we added an email address (let's call it support@$domain.com where $domain.com is the name of our domain.) as a secondary email address (team@$domain.com) to the primary account owner.

However, once you enabled this email import, Google sent every old email that the primary account owner ever received for the past 5 years to the support system.

You can imagine what happens when the support system starts flooding people with emails from 5 years ago. Not only would our IP reputation suffer, but it is plain just rude.

We talked to Google Workspace support and they suggested using filters and then creating separate labels for "support " and "invoice " emails within our Workspace account (referring to Gmail ). Then, configure our ticketing system only to import emails with those specific labels.

It is important to note that the "support" and "invoices" addresses were created 2 weeks ago and have never existed before.

To recap, the goal is to ensure that only emails sent to "support@, invoice@" are sent. Mails that start with "team@" which is the primary Google Admin email excluded."

Is this something the WHMCS team can consider doing something about?

That is, only importing emails with certain labels created using Filters.

Thanks
