How can we improve WHMCS?

I think a new addition should be made to the Downloads portion for WHMCS. When you go to create a download you have manual upload or enter file name. I recently downloaded a script that handles automatic updating for software I license, and it would be nice to point Clients who purchased said licensed Product to that external file, that can also handle automatic updating.

It is important to know that I make use of the License Addon and with the new download manager that I bought, in my source code, I do only allow the software to update IF the user has an Active License and Active Support and updates package.
