How can we improve WHMCS?

Currently, WHMCS only supports currency exchange rate synchronization using data from the European Central Bank (ECB). While this works for Euro-based conversions, it does not accurately reflect the official rates for other currencies, especially for countries outside the Eurozone.

I would like to request the ability to select and sync exchange rates from local central banks based on the default currency in use. For example, if the default currency is Azerbaijani Manat (AZN), then the exchange rate should be pulled from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan; if it is Turkish Lira (TRY), then from the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), and so on.

This feature would improve accuracy and compliance, especially for businesses that are legally required to reflect their national bank’s official rates in invoices and accounting.

Suggested Options:

Add a setting to choose the exchange rate provider per currency.

Include APIs of major central banks or allow custom API integrations.
