Although it is possible for the customer to choose the purchase by TLD in the frontend, you can register prices by domain by TLD, in the admin area it is not possible to filter by TLD.
My suggestion is that in Clients> Domain Registrations (https://snipboard.io/3PkJFd.jpg) and Reports> Exports> Domains (https://snipboard.io/8JYu7k.jpg) you have the option to filter by TLD.

The SLD and TLD are stored as a whole in the "Domain" field.
So you can search/filter with ".com" or ".net" in the Domain field in both locations.
Would that meet your requirements?
