We just switched to WHMCS and it looks like we are going to switch back for this one reason alone. We use the ticketing system to keep track of all work on tickets. Our techs make notes as they are working and then save/send updates for future look ups and customers to know what we did. However, we keep losing notes, because the system logs us out with half the notes entered. The only way around it is to Reply every single note, which would send the customer a single line update, which could end up sending them a spam filter worthy 20-30 emails over one repair. Not acceptable.
We need to be able to allow our technicians (admins) to stay logged in throughout a full business day and not worry about their notes just disappearing because they didn't save. Sometimes the system will let us login and the notes are still there ready to save, but seemingly on the ones we've made the most notes on that are hard to redue (with link information and such), once we log in, the note area is totally blank.
Just while I typed this, one of our techs just lost very valuable notes and nope, once he logged in, they were gone. Unless there is a temporary fix until the main fix is done, it looks like we will pull out of WHMCS... We hate to lose 4 months of setup work and conversions, but the time loss in this logout problem is killing our productivity.
