How can we improve WHMCS?

We have a custom field called "How did you hear about us?"

This is to try and capture where we are getting our leads from.

The first selection is "Please Select:" followed by many choices. The problem is when someone does not make a choice, the order comes through with "Please Select:".

I would like a way to require a client to select a choice during checkout and/or on their profile.
