Client Assets



We have often found ourselves wanting to link tickets to a client asset, i.e. specific device. While researching for a plugin for WHMCS to handle this feature, we ran across a program called ITFLOW. ITFLOW allows for assets to be added to a client with specific information (see attachments). In the particular case of ITFLOW, this is done through a modal that has separate tabs. You can then attach a ticket to an asset, if applicable. Once an asset is attached to a ticket, it will show a service history on that asset if it has had other tickets related to it (see attachments). You can then click on the service history button and it will open another window with the previous tickets related to that asset. This would streamline support issues by allowing techs to see what has previously been done at the click of a button. It would also allow for agents to note if there has been an ongoing issue with a particular client asset.
