would be good in the customer panel to renew a product if there is any promotion code for renewal may apply a discount

Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to submit your suggestion, votes and comments. At present promotion codes can already be applied when a client places a domain renewal order. However there isn't a mechanism by which a client could apply a promotion code to a recurring product, as they do not need to manually place an order to initiate the renewal.

I think this is a great idea, it would really give WHMCS an edge over other similar hosting/billing platforms.

I kind of dislike this idea. I want coupon codes used for customer acquisition, not retention.
