We deal with different web designers who receive commissions, and some of them have 1 single account for both affiliation and products that they buy for their own customers.
In these cases, the system doesn't automatically add the commission, and we have to do it manually each time, or ask the affiliate to have 2 different accounts.
It would be handle to have an option to disable this behaviour, globally or for each client, and allow affiliates to get automatic accreditations for their own purchases.

Thanks for this suggestion. At present self-referrals like this are intentionally blocked to prevent abuse of the affiliate system.
But never fear, the user system was designed with such web designers in mind; they can create individual Client Accounts for each client and then send an invite to login and submit payment. Or the client can signup directly using an affiliate link and then invite the designer to be an additional user on the account.
