Allow disable of email notifications in Project Manager Addon. There are also a number of requested for this feature within the topic "Email notifications in the Project Management add-on"

    Hi, Haven't found this one in the list, when using project manager it is issuing emails to every person affected on a project for every changes done (even with the "Watching" Option disabled).This results in quite a heavy mail traffic for, mostly, nothing in my opinion and what we would like is a feature for project members to subscribe or not to certain emails.Thank you :)Alex.

If you are looking to disable all emails generated by the Project Management addon, you can disable the "Project Management: Admin Change Notification" email template.
I gather that you are looking for more fine-grained control over notifications, so we will keep evaluating feedback for this request.

its mainly the admin notifications which are annoying.
every single action I take sends me an email telling me the action I just performed.
It really shouldn't;t be sending these messages to the person who performed the action.
I don;t think everyone else needs to know every time I change the status of a task either.

While the devs are in there changing this, I don't think clients get any kind of notification emails from PM. It would be useful to have a "one click button" that sends a client notification that says "Project Management updated... click to login" etc (obviously the text should be configurable)

Is there any safe hack or other option to disable this for now? Just edited my 20+ project design tasks, and received several dozen unnecessary email notifications.

There should be a standard feature. If i'm making a change, I don't need to be notified of the change that i'm making. You should also be able to select which notifications that client gets as well.

I agree, not sure why I am getting notified of something "I" am doing. By default no notifications should go out for any changes "unless" the Watch has been enabled. Also, I get a 5-10 second delay after clicking on the closing checkmark task for it to turn to a green check mark, as i believe its doing the non-necessary work of generating an email. Frustrating user experience.

A simple true/false option to turn off email notifications would be good.
Receiving a notification every time you save your own changes to a project, task, etc. does not seem logical.
Please allow us to turn off these nuisance emails.
