Product Addons - Custom Field - Show on Invoice

We would like to be able to have a custom field for a product addon show on the invoice.
We use this for several features:
-Track SN of devices we manage
-Lable an addon for a location, we often have a client with a parent product and multiple locations with the same addon, we use the custom line now, but that makes a mess of the service addons search field, adding a Location field would resolve that IF it would show on the invoice.
The option currently exists but toggling it does nothing as confirmed my WHMCS support.
