Yes it would be useful for annual hosting renewals whereby you could even turn off invoicing alltogether and just have the renewal invitation/notification go out. Some clients actually think that we will chase them for the annual invoice payment once they are re-invoiced annually and its not the case. This method also cuts down on the number of unpaid invoices in the system as paid invoices are then only generated for renewed/paid items.
