WHMCS WebApp

I know the mobile side of WHMCS has never been big. But now just in the US over 20% of all users use their mobile devices, or tablets. I find that WHMCS is one of the last companies to not go mobile or at least have a responsive system. Why do users need to pay $30 for a mobile admin area, what about the clients? Their is no addon or default client side mobile site. And besides that, the $30 mobile admin area horrible. Why not follow some of your partners, paypal has aps, mobile sites, LiveHelp, they have great apps and now....the livehelp web browser is all upgraded. Take a look for yourself here. That is an amazing example of something in my mind...WHMCS should take a look at. Or at least a responsive client and admin area, but why not take it a step further and just build a web app like that?

Hi,

Thanks for all your votes on this suggestion guys!

Version 6.0 includes a new responsive template for use on mobile devices. We also added responsive elements to the admin area so can be used on phablets in landscape view. However the admin area simply contains too many options to be practically managed on a smartphone

We do have apps which contain the core features needed for managing your business on the move:

The android app works great, the iphone app eventhough its was recently update, i really find it full of bugs and crap, for windows 8 phone, i am myself waiting for any working one, since there is no app for this

I just wish whmcs would make a responsive template where it would have a section for clients to check thier accounts, open support tickets and pay their invoices mobile as well as for administrators to do the normal taks such as accepting orders, creating invoices and answering support tickets and to do list, same like all these features that they have on most of these apps mentioned above, where admins can buy and would support most phone platforms/browsers since they dont update apps and takes forever this should be the easiest choice specially after the fact they dump their web addon and will no longer provide it.

at least they will focus on one thing, which is this web development and license people to use it better than several buggy app, thats my 2 cents.

Hi,

The new version 6 client area is fully responsive.

The problem is with the admin side... I think It should be converted too to a new responsive template.
