As an administrator, I would like the ability to enable or disable Captcha on any page of every order form as I see fit, rather than at specified locations.
I can not believe what the Capcha's system to WHMCS is not includet in the payment gateway, one of the most important and necessary parts of the whmcs application.
I realize that you, the projection that might have the application whmcs, you are responsible to sink, selling absolutely everything, when you should have modules or security systems integrated in the application by default. And the same problem exists with the payment system.
It's really unfortunate that the WHMCS application, in the most important part (the payment form), it can't see the Capcha.
I have the same problem. And in addition to that, I have problem with the payment system too.
Being that, the majority of payment system don't offer neither guarantees the security of the charges being made.
It's mean, anybody can pay with a credit cart that they do not them. And in the end, the problem reclae about you.
It's a must!!!
still no development for this, also not with WHMCS 7, very bad. Make this soon, it is very important!
I've voted for this idea, the more control over security/fraud protection the better and allowing the use of capchas on pages of your choice is a good idea.
When and visitor comes and made an order but then person didnt pay. ( its good)
But when someone runs and program script in that order form then it is a spam orders. So i request to WHMCS to provide an captcha images on all order form so no one can make a spam orders by running the program script.
We have created an action hook which will immediately add Google's Invisible reCAPTCHA to the checkout page, which should help reduce these orders: https://whmcs.community/topic/287045-huge-amount-of-fake-accounts/?do=findComment&comment=1293737
Thanks for your continued votes. In version 7.6 we added Invisible reCAPTCHA to the checkout page. In the upcoming version 7.7 release, we are doing further work around captcha.
This will include adding standard captcha and reCAPTCHA V2 to the checkout page, so it must be completed to place an order. It will also include the ability to toggle on/off captcha independently on any of the pages it is available. See this related feature request for more info: https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/option-to-turn-off-on-captcha-form-protection-independently-on-different-pages
When the OP says captcha on "all" pages of the order form, a good argument would need to be made on the value of adding it to the domain or product configuration steps. We feel that being available on the domain lookup and checkout page meet operator's needs of preventing automated submissions, without overly inconveniencing visitors.
Version 7.7 has now reached public beta, which includes this feature: https://preview.whmcs.com
The documentation for these new options has been published at https://docs.whmcs.com/Google_reCAPTCHA
