How can we improve WHMCS?

When I am adding billing to a ticket I would like to see hours be added to the list of fields I can fill in. I would also like to see the hours/qty radio buttons similar to Billable Items tab, Add A Billable Item button. the last thing in this area would be the other field of Invoice as Normal for Due Date and the option to add the date of the next time that billable item would go out.

Problem I am having is that I add a billable item to the ticket and then I have to go back to the Billable Item tab to put the due date because I bill out on the 1st of every month. I have it setup where if I am going to bill it out on Sept 1 I would put Oct 1 as my (Next) Due Date so it can put all of them into one invoice sent out on the 1st of the month. This process would simplify my work to keep me efficient.
