For some services especially ones that require significant upfront effort, I need to be able to require the customer to commit to a certain term. Currently there is no way to do that in WHMCS, other than to track that separately, and somehow disable clients from requesting cancellations.

    minimum cancellation notice to be able to cancel a product is needed
    is to be able to add extra days to service to be able to be cancelled as low as 30 days

This is needed badly. The current WHMCS behaviour (contracts and cancellation) is in our opinion very poor designed.
