As other previously stated : very important for all EU Business and soon mandatory in Belgium. It should be top priority, if not ready soon, all EU business will have to find alternatives.

Belgium is up first next year (only 6 months to go) and it's mandatory for sending invoices. I felt I should vote for this issue for the whmcs community friends in Belgium.
Maybe we can help by exploring some solutions. I came across billit.eu - according to their website, they offer a free API for sending invoices via Peppol. Do you guys have any other suggestions?

@Marlon - I think a lot of people in Belgium (and other european countries) are looking for a solution but WHMCS is not really responding while the time is tikking. I don't think there is a real solution so far and WHMCS should have this ready a long time ago.
Billit, ING invoice manager, Doccle Pro, Lucy, Comanage, Moneybird, Dexter, .... allemaal alternatieven die geen echt alternatief zijn.

Our module has been running smoothly for several weeks on our own WHMCS installation and several others, integrated with Billit. It’s a great alternative solution while WHMCS hasn’t provided an official option yet. We’re happy to be legally compliant in the meantime. Feel free to reach out if you’re interested!

We've identified a potential solution using a third-party API and want to develop a WHMCS module to automatically send invoices to the Peppol network, primarily for Belgium-based businesses and potentially other European countries.
I totally agree this would be a really valuable feature! With Peppol becoming mandatory for B2B invoicing in Europe from 2026, it would be great to see WHMCS get ahead of the curve and start working on integration. Hoping the team can share if this is on the roadmap soon — it would definitely save a lot of time and effort for EU businesses. Thanks for raising this! Also, here we need it (also from Belgium), since 99% of our customers are B2B we have no option to get this implement before the end of 2025. If not we no longer can legally use WHMCS.

My accountant allready introduced another software that I'll use if WHMCS is not updated to PEPPOL. I preffer WHMCS but leave when the option PEPPOL will not be possible.

It is not only Belgium, Currently, 31 countries in Europe have OpenPeppol members (Peppol access points or Peppol service providers). 19 of these countries use the Peppol network as part of their B2G e-invoicing legislations. These countries include Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden and the United Kingdom
URGENT – Critical for Compliance & Business Continuity (Belgium-based Businesses)
As a Belgium-based business, we rely on WHMCS to manage our operations efficiently. However, a critical feature is currently missing, which must be implemented before January 1st, 2026, or we, along with many other businesses, will be forced to seek alternatives.
This is not a “nice-to-have” feature request—it’s a legal necessity for businesses in Belgium. Without these crucial updates, running a business on WHMCS will become impossible under Belgian law.
We urge WHMCS to prioritize this immediately or risk losing a significant customer base in Belgium/EU/others.
We look forward to your response and a concrete roadmap for implementation.

Answer from WHMCS:
A lot of factors are involved in deciding what we work on. With finite resources and a big product roadmap, we have to decide what we work on based on a combination of both the value it delivers and the number of users it benefits.
Something else that can help is starting a discussion topic WHMCS Community to see if others have the same problem and if so, getting them to add their vote and opinions to your feature request. While we do not implement features based solely on their popularity, requests that get a lot of traction in our feature requests tracker do get reviewed by our team.

Seriously this make me consider adopting a WHMCS plan if only they would respect EU billing regulation for January 2026. I need to be paid by customers if not I can cease my European business.
