Anyone looking into implementing this as an option to future WHMCS updates? It looks pretty good from my standpoint and I would love to use it along with my current WHMCS install.

Both the Original Forum Request link and the PayPal link are not available anymore (it's no wonder considering this feature request is from April 2013 ).

Any way - what's PayPal Payments Advanced and is it still being investigated by WHMCS?
I would love to see this module on whmcs.

I've moved on to testing out STRIPE as a payment gateway using https://www.whmcs.com/appstore/962/Stripe-WHMCS-Payment-Gateway.html
I'm making modifications and about to begin testing it as a replacement. Since it supports CC processing direct on our website with out leaving the page and thats the primary benefit of PPAdvance. STRIPE is a valid option as a replacement and supports CANADA.

I should be posting updates to the code via github.com/zmjwong

Based on my primary overview of the code its a little out dated and needs to be modified to work with our theme. I will start initial testing using default themes and work my way to an initial re-launche of the app. I've also been following their https://github.com/stripe/stripe-php and its active so i might have some catching up to.
Jon, I worked with PayPal today, and we could not get Advanced to work on anything... I keep looking for a PayPal Advanced module. Do not be fooled by the Adavanced module listed on YouTube, it is the same as the one listed above in this thread several times for handling normal paypal only subscriptions. They even reposted the advert video as the PayPal Pro module too... Do not be fooled.

Could not figure it out Jon... I will call PayPal on Monday
@Jon Wong

I am going to see if my PPA account will work on the PPPro module tonight.
I would love this feature, has anyone tested the Pro Module for use with PPAdvance in recent weeks?
Absolutely needed. Please integrate.
Aaron Eaton wrote:You can actually use the paypal payments pro module for this. I have been using it since advanced came out. I have heard reports of them fixing it so that will not work, but i still can use it.

So until we have a "offical" module for advanced, you shiould be able to use the pro one.
I tried doing that and it is not working! keep showing 1 error : The credit card details you entered were declined. Please try a different card or contact support.

I am using my own card, lol do you know how to fix this?
I realy need this feature!
what's the status of this??!!
Would love to have it too, many thanks!
Please get this working
Anyone have any idea when this is going to be completed? Its been over 5 months and still is in the "planning" stage :(
Jonny Hardwick wrote:Does anyone else need the feature below too? I think it would help a lot of people and allow them to receive recurring payments without having to get their clients setup a recurring payment profile for each product they purchase. It would work the same way GoDaddy handles recurring PayPal payments:
WHMCS PayPal Billing Agreements
I have been waiting for this feature for quite some time now.

Thanks for bringing it up! :)
