Paypal Basic Gateway button to Encrypted (EWP)

I believe it's critical now days to have encrypted Paypal order buttons as it is possible to manipulate the data in the Paypal button code.
As it is now, Paypal Basic gateway payment method is not encrypted, so enabling Encrypted Website Payments (EWP) in your Paypal settings will break the gateway.

Thanks for your suggestion.
The PayPal Basic module is superseded with the newer "PayPal" module, I'd recommend using that module to address any concerns you may have.
