Passthrough tax metadata to gateways

We have been using WHMCS with Stripe for quite some time and have began to notice that while WHMCS is recording any sales taxes that are collected, this information is not being passed down to the gateway (Stripe, PayPal, etc). It would be handy to have this information passed down to ensure our accounting is correct.
Taking a look at the other community forums, there is another instance of a user noticing this same behaviour who has even provided a pointer for where the issue lays. You can see this forum post here: https://whmcs.community/topic/303349-stripe-gateway-missing-tax-metadata/
Would highly appreciate it if this could be implemented, and I'm sure other users would love for this to be added as well.
