I have a client who ONLY wants his invoices to be whole number (nothing below the decimal point). He does not care if I round up or down, but his billing/invoicing is more simplified and he does not want to deal with pennies.

I suppose the rounding could apply to all services/products on the invoice (and taxes) so that it was all whole numbers, and therefore the total would also be a whole number. That might look better on the invoice.

I get wanting invoices to be simple, but customization can be nice too. Speaking of tricky things, I've been working on my pixel flow skills (https://www.pixel-flow-level.com) to solve tough puzzles, and it's all about finding the right strategies!

Rounding each line item to the nearest whole number or just the end total can have a big effect on how accurate your invoices are. Have you thought about using these rules for rounding? For easier financial transactions, this trait is something to think about https://undeadcorridor.com

yes. that would be my idea. I have a single client who has requested this and won't pay unless it is in whole dollars.

Hi Scott,
Thanks for your suggestion.
At present amounts can be rounded to a whole number system-wise by selecting the appropriate currency format.
Would your suggestion be to perform the rounding on a per client-group basis?
