Hi,

in germany it is very common, that you get more than one domain for free, when ordering a hosting package. I feel like germany is the only country where this is so.

At normal you have, say 3 Domains for free, you can register the 3 Domains at order time, or order them later. But always free, because they are billed with the normal hosting package.

We have tried many things and workarounds with WHMCS and its always very unwieldy for the customer to get his free domains.

It would be nice, when the customer can see in his account, how many free domains are used.
It should be configurable what TLDs are free. e.g. only .de Domains, or mixed like .com/.net/.org Domains.

Version 6 has ended and still no such feature.

2 years ago and still can't believe that this option is still not included. Please add it to version 6.0 because as the thread opener wrote - in germany it's most common to give multiple free domains to each customer. Theres no known provider who doesn't.

Currently their is a bug in WHMCS, so that the one possible free domain have to be paid.


Work-around (2. = first free domain; 3. = for each additional free domain):

1. Create a product bundle

2a. "Add Another" bei "Bundles Items" anklicken
2b. Set "Type" to "Product/Service"
2c. Choose the desired product for "Product/Service"
2d. Activate "Qualifying TLDs" for the desired one(s)
2e. Activate (Domain) "Price Override" and set it to "0.00"(Price Before Addons)

3a. "Add Another" bei "Bundles Items" anklicken
3b. Set "Type" to "Domain"
3c. Activate "Qualifying TLDs" for the desired one(s)
3d. Activate "Price Override" and set it to "0.00"(Price Before Addons)
