Automatically update customer renewal price for existing domains

It is fantastic that WHMCS has now now added the TLD Import & Pricing Sync tool which will greatly reduce the amount of time required to keep on top of pricing maintenance and take the fear out of potentially losing money when exchange rates fluctuate wildly.

I used to update prices manually on the 1st of the month, then run the Bulk Pricing Updater to bring my clients accounts in line with the up to date prices. This is obviously going to be considerably more difficult when prices can change on a daily basis depending on the exchange rates.

I propose that as an addition to the Import & Pricing Sync tool and option be added that allows us to automatically update any renewal fees for existing domains in our systems.

With the sheer volume of domains available now full automation of this really is a necessity.

Automating WHMCS domain pricing is a huge time-saver. It's almost as complex as MHA RPG..Related Links: https://charactercard.com/chat/1921fd5b-3e53-441c-ac3f-9a9e3a1d6bcb
Extend the TLD Import & Pricing Sync tool with an optional “Renewal Price Sync for Existing Domains” feature. When enabled, WHMCS would automatically recalculate and update renewal fees for active domains based on the latest synced TLD pricing and exchange rates, while respecting configurable safeguards such as notice periods, maximum price change thresholds, and client transparency logs. https://www.mcdvoice.site
This keeps pricing accurate in real time, removes manual maintenance, and protects providers from exchange-rate volatility—making full domain pricing automation practical at scale.
I'm very surprised this feature request hasn't gained more traction. This feature just makes sense, and is already partially implemented in a more manual form with the "Recalculate on save" button when viewing a customers domain and/or service. I think this feature would be an invaluable addition to WHMCS and for those customers that offer many TLDs and/or have many domain names, it would make administration of WHMCS much easier.
Totally agree. I did find a plugin that fits the bill. I've been using this for the past year or so without any issues - https://caribehost.co/global/modules/auto-recalculate-prices/
