Automatically propagate domain pricing updates to existing domains

There is a need to have a method to automatically (or semi-automatically) update the domain pricing of existing domains. Currently, the only way to update existing domains is to use the Bulk Pricing Updater tool, which is not very optimal, as it can quickly get out of hand with the exponential number of variations, due to different options and multiple TLDs in the system, not to mention the potential for human error.
I think it should be as simple as running a cron job, which doesn't have to be very often (even quarterly could suffice), that gets the current domain pricing and applies it to the existing domains in the system.
As an added bonus, there could be some rules like if the domain is $0.00 (free with hosting), leave it alone, or give some grace period or price increase notice to the existing clients, etc.
