One of the methods Stripe recommends for anti-fraud purposes is to customize the merchant statement descriptor with a random number.
The first step for this feature would be to simply provide a field which is replaced with a random number, and the random number chosen stored in WHMCS's records for the charge. When there are fraud questions, the information would be available for customer support to ask the customer.
Additional automations (e.g. sending emails to request the number, an interface to provide the number automatically which then marks a card as 'verified') could later be useful.
