Ability to change credit card used to pay for a domain or service

I would like to be able to complete the following scenario:
Client A purchases a Service A with Credit Card A (which is then the default credit card).
Client A then adds Credit Card B but does not set it as the default.
Client A then wishes to pay for Service A's future renewals with Credit Card B.
It is currently not possible to change the credit card used to pay for a service/domain after the initial payment.
Currently I have to delete the service then create it again using Credit Card B as the payment method, and then update the expiry date etc to match what it previously was.
