Setting to choose which default order to have for support tickets

Since 5.2.2 version, the support tickets default ordering is oldest to newest. Depending on each business, the need is different. It is best to have the option to choose for the tickets to be sorted oldest to newest by default, or newest to oldest. Even-though clicking on column header changes this, but this is still session based on each browser of each user. Not helpful enough...

The support ticket page sorting is now saved permanently per-user and in v5.3 we added the "Update Last Reply Timestamp" option in Setup > General Settings to allow you to choose whether 'bumps' from clients would reset the last reply timestamp or not.

That is for REPLIES in 1 ticket. I am talking about the list of tickets in supporttickets.php

My system default is still newest to oldest (after upgrading to 5.2.2) - but i'm not sure where is the setting to control that.

The default has changed in the new version, no way to change it,. You might see it other way, due to your current session.

Maybe this will help.

In the new 5.2.3 ver there is a fix:

Updated the admin ticket list to remember and return to previous filters after replying to a ticket

Order by date of first customer response to staff comment (ie ignoring date of extra responses that add more info)
