Prevent duplicate usernames

For example when a new account is made, or when a service is assigned (especially if it is being assigned by domain name and if the domains just differ by TLD) it would automatically either prevent the same usernames from being used, and would assign a random one.

Hello,

To avoid duplicates - you would want to enable random usernames:

OMG this should have been there since version 1. I've never used an ISP billing system that doesn't do this. If you have automation and cancel a user, you can actually cancel two users since the system isn't checking when they are created. It needs to check for duplicates usernames per server or at least overall for all servers if that's easier. Either would fix this major oversight.

Over all for all servers actually does not make sense, that would mean that one username is taken everywhere as soon as it is ordered with us, Sure, this can be of benefit, you could then setup where a clients first username becomes their standard across your system. But it would also be very limiting in the log run if you have a lot of clients that only have one service on one server and never intend to have more.
