WHMCS should add a license verification system like cpanel.net | https://verify.cpanel.net/app/verify?ip=whmcs.com.
This system will show the history of WHMCS license.

This is already possible. We provide a verification form which allows you to search the domain that WHMCS is installed on via: https://www.whmcs.com/members/verifydomain.php
