Knowledge base image upload

Ross Gerring shared this idea 4 years ago
Under Consideration

I'd like to be able to upload images in knowledge base articles, but this doesn't appear possible right now. It appears that the only way to include an image is to reference a URL to an existing image, as opposed to being able to select and upload an image directly into an article.

there are a lots of open source ajax editors that can upload images by simply copying and pasting on the textbox. Check out github for all of them.

I would prefer that the system I am leasing for several hundred dollars per year does it thanks. When you customise WHMCS, they wont support it either so customising sounds like a nice idea but if it confilts with something within WHMCS then you waste alot of time later on.

Hi,

Thanks for feedback thus far everyone. Looking at the most popular ideas and ideas planned/in progress at present, they tend to have in excess of 100 votes.

Please keep voting on this idea if you'd like to see it implemented in future, the more popular it becomes the better!

The nulled versions of WHMCS on Taobao often have this ability, so it's definitely possible to implement. In your software development sprints, this function (not a feature!!) should have been added years ago -- to make us wait for it to hit 100 votes is ridiculous because you should take an executive action to understand and execute this function quickly. Isn't it obvious that it's needed?

@whmc_john, I think there needs to be some kind of ratio logic applied here.

A Lot of the features that have + 100 votes are seriously advanced.

This feature request is not very complicated at really and would take a WHMCS dev a day to implement.

This would literally save me 10 minutes every time I add a KB article or announcement.
