Knowledge base image upload

Ross Gerring shared this idea 5 years ago
Under Consideration

I'd like to be able to upload images in knowledge base articles, but this doesn't appear possible right now. It appears that the only way to include an image is to reference a URL to an existing image, as opposed to being able to select and upload an image directly into an article.

It is open for 5 years now...

This should have been a standard feature in the first place.

5 years and still no image upload feature.

This is causing the knowledge base to be pretty useless because it is a lot of work to upload images, copy url's etc.

Just a image upload and a responsive embed... that's it ...

IT is truly amazing that they have been unable to implement this. Any idiot with a basic understanding of PHP can do this since there are WYSIWYG modules available with the functionality built right in.

Aye, their "policy" though is that it does not have enough interest needs more than 100 votes. Maybe we need to launch a change.org petition instead to get interest. LOL.

Mind you, the issues seems to be tagged "under construction" so maybe it will be in next release. Fingers crossed!
