We need a monthly statement showing what a client owes and need to be able to dictate the date each month it gets emailed out.

It should show which are overdue, and which are just owing. With due dates and invoice numbers showing too.

We also need the emails to continue monthly until nothing is owing.

A module seems to be a good fit. Just spoke to Marcel from Infinitycds. Their site is being upgraded so the link is down at present. The module is still available for sale and under active development.
There is a module for exactly this... https://infinitycds.co.za/infinity-statements-whmcs/
WHMCS si by far the best account management system for Web Hosts. Adding a feature where we can email a PDF statement of account to clients every month and having the ability for clients to create their own statements in their account portal is a standard feature of every billing system. WHMCS needs to incorporate this feature. I figured it would be in their by now.
I use Xero accounting system and that does provide client statements, however, it is not at all as powerful as a monthly statment direct from the billing engine itself. This request is now 3 years old.
Some of our clients request for these, it would be also good if that report shows the client information (name etc ) in the header as currently i only have a client id, which the client is not even aware of.
We second this feature to be added
to the next update as we get too many clients requesting monthly statements.
Currently its becoming too much work to handle all the request on a monthly basis,
should this feature not be included we might as well hire someone full time in
our accounts department to conduct this duty.
Upon purchasing WHMCS right in the beginning we were under the impression that
WHCMS was a fully automated billing software, which currently this seems to
have faded away...
Please include this feature!!
At least a "view statement" option on the client side would be useful. It simply needs to show the services, amounts paid and amounts outstanding. Would have thought it would be straightforward to add this, but as with anyuthing WHMCS it takes an eon or two for any movement!
Why is this not done yet? This is a basic need for all billing software.
I still cannot believe that WHMCS doesnt have this feature! WHMCS is a billing system and every billing system that I know has an automated statement generator and notification system for the clients. This is one feature that has been neglected since version 1!
Does not appear to have been improved in v6
anyone tried WHMCS v6 yes, is this feature in there yet ?
If not, then we are going to get a custom module written instead.
I will be happy to share the module with anyone who wants it for a moderate fee just to cover our development costs. Say $50 or so and everyone willing to pay and give their input on the features they want.

Hi Stef

We can apply it for you for only $99, we accept payment via Paypal. With this you can have a Monthly PDF Statement shooting out to customers via email, or on specified days of the week if the client is owing.

What are your specific requirements Stef, and how soon would you like this solution applied to your business?
sivehost what is the cost for your solution?
innovot wrote:Agreed, and hope that has been remedied in v6.
If your business needs it now, you can have it now through our solution.

If your business does not need it now, then you can wait for WHMCS to release it as a basic feature some day.

Sorry ma, just that my connection froze a couple of times and thought the message did not go through.

Attaching files did not work at all. So I kept on trying new ways of sharing.
