An example of this would be the addClient API function
We only need the firstname, email, phone number and password, everything else we don't need as the user can add these later, this is to simplify the sign up process, fraud is done by stripe and a few other stuff.
There may be more API functions where required fields should be optional.
I like this idea
We also do not need anything from our Customers. Firstname, Lastname and E-Mail-Adress ist just enough.
If an Customer needs an Invoice he can manually add his Details.
This Process in this way is Privacy unfriendly!
