Change Text editor

I suggest upgrading or replacing the current text editor.
The current text editor lacks many features, so I suggest upgrade or replace it with another more advanced text editor.
Thanks

Add design elements to the KB wyswyg editor to increase exponentially the productivity
If you use to write KB articles and know the KB script phpkb (https://www.knowledgebase-script.com/demo.php) you know what im talking, they have, probably a custom made plugin for the editor which increase the productivity a lot. A button that called Design Elements. You simply click in icon in the editor and you have a lot of options, just a click and a formatted "tips" block, "alert" block is inserted. This is a "must" in a KB section. You do not have to start using html and css to put a simply square with a bg colour or a fontawesome icon to create a Alert, tip or any other block while writing an article, tis is done with a simply click.I just attached some screenshots from the phpkb editor area so you know what im talking, you can also check from the phpkb website in the user demo.Thank you!

any text entered into the message box seems to remain after clicking on the Cancel button. To repeat this issue: 1) Click on Customer Service or Customer Relationship. 2) Enter in any text into message box. 3) Click Cancel at bottom, which then takes you to Support Requests page. 4) Click on Open Request and then click on whichever department you first picked. Message text remains. This should be cleared out if someone clicks 'Cancel'.. Still not clearing out same. Also you can clear tickets from support ticket page by clicking cancel then submit on the support tickets page, but not from open requests page

I do agree with ramf. It will be very good if we can use TinyMCE as ticket editor.
Hi,
In my opinion the issue is with the text editor in the ticket system.
Using markdown formatting instead of TinyMCE is problematic since you can't use colors and other options we have in a "regular" text editor. Also using markdown formatting to add tables and some other formattings - are just too cumbersome.

Hi there,
WHMCS currently used TinyMCE as the rich text editor. If there's another editor you'd like to see instead which does have all the features you'd like to see, please do let us know.
