This is a must. Clients must be able to select addon billing cycle as they can do with products. This way, I can offer different prices for different cycles.

Acknowledged, we need billing cycle with an option!!

Absolutely right. If we have different product addons and have to add a "new one" for each billing cycle, the page becomes a mess for the client.

WHMCS Module Garden have this option!!

also, for default addons such as "ID Protection", there should be an option to bill them independently of the domain renewal.

Product Addons within WHMCS are in need of a long overdue overhaul. I

started this 'request' over 4 years ago before this request forum was

even in place:

https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/expand-product-addons-functionality

WHMCS removed the original feature requests from the forum a long time ago.

Here are all of the addon related feature requests that are related:

https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/groups-for-product-addons

https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/product-addon-with-quantity

https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/multiple-quantity-and-payment-options-on-addons

https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/add-configurable-options-to-bulk-pricing-updater

https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/prorata-billing-for-addons

https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/product-addons-billing-cycle

Hopefully

we can get enough support for all of these requests to get WHMCS to

address the lack of features within 'addons' side of WHMCS.

Hello,

This has been implemented in WHMCS 7.2.0, which is currently in beta. This was added within the project to allow modules for Product Addons:

Have a great day,
