Add Tracking Number field to tickets with common carrier lookup

Under Consideration

We often have to place orders for clients and currently put the tracking details in as a private note.

Would be really neat to have a built-in option that could then also poll the carrier and show is tracking details in the admin ticket area.

Thanks for your suggestion. I imagine the data could be manually stored as a Support Custom Field.

There is some other considerations, such as:

Where does the data originate? What are the authentication requirements? What is its format? Is there any developer documentation to which we could refer?
