Direct debits via Stripe UK have been publicly released and would like you to reconsider the decision to implement such a gateway: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/payment-methods/bacs-debit

Stripe are now beta testing "Bacs Direct Debits" which are used in the UK.WHMCS 7.9 introduced support for SEPA and it would be great if the UK version can also be supported.

Thanks for this suggestion.
This feature is currently in an invite-only beta stage, so not something WHMCS supports at this time.
Once the API implementations are finalised - and users learn about its existence - we will be in a better position to judge compatibility and demand for it in a future feature request.
