As confirmed via a support ticket, currently the admin panel's Add Order -> Price Override feature does not have any defined behaviour when used with a Pro-rata product.
For example, if you pro-rata a product so invoices start on the 1st of the month, a $10 product ordered on the 15th of the month would result in a new invoice for $5 going from the 15th to the 30th of the month.
However if the price is overridden to $20, you'd expect the first invoice to be $10, from the 15th to the 30th of the month.
What currently happens is undefined, resulting in the first invoice being $20 from the 15th to the 30th, and the second invoice being $20 from the 1st to the 30th.
That's clearly not a valid result.
It should be fairly straight forward to update the Price Override feature to take the pro-rata settings in to account which would give a much more sensible result.
