WHM / CPANEL URL SETTING - CHANGE URL TO SUBDOMAIN

Davi Souza shared this idea 6 years ago
Under Consideration

Hi i would like to get option to edit the WHM/CPANEL/WEBMAIL URL from www.mydomain.com:2082 to cpanel.mydomain.com.br

This is will be good because some network places they block this port... Also who are using cloudflare resource, the only way to load fine whm/cpanel/webamil is from subdomain.

The subdomain cpanel.domain.com and whm.domain.com is configured by default from cpanel service.

You could enable this setting at: Setup > Products/Services > Servers

CPANEL URL: so i will type the URL that i desired.

WHM URL: so i will type the URL that i desired.

Or a checkbox with:

Do you want to use subdomain? (checkbox option)

Why not just set it as that as the Hostname when you add the server?

Because maybe someone would like to still using the ports otherwise subdomain.

And in the client area templates are with ports numbers setted, with condition to the specified ports SSL or not SSL (2082 or 2083).

Exemplo: in mainsite.tpl

http{if $serversecure}s{/if}://{if $serverhostname}{$serverhostname}{else}{$serverip}{/if}:{if $serversecure}2083{else}2082{/if}/login/

It could be changed to:

{cpanelURL}/login

thanks
