Store token/card details in Stripe gateway when order is frauded for manual review
Other gateways like Authorize.net store the CC info and token when an order is marked fraud for manual review, Stripe should behave the same way.
I have verified:
- Even in cases of fraud, the gateway is making an API call to get the token, and the response contains the last 4 of the card used
- The token and card info are not being stored on the client account
After manual review it would be easy to charge the client's card and get their hosting set up immediately, but since that information is not stored we have to wait for the client to re-enter their card information and pay the invoice.
Also, since we don't have a record of the card they used to sign up we are unable to manually verify that specific card.
