Product dependant support departments

Similar to the product dependant downloads where access is only permitted to clients who have purchased a particular product, when a client owns a certain product/addon/configurable option then a department will be displayed on the ticket submission page.

If the client does not own the product they will not see the department. Useful when used in conjunction with the Support & Updates feature of the Licensing Addon, or when charging for a specific service such as website design or software upgrades.

This feature specially for companies that provide custom hosting and services solutions and also custom support plans is a must!

Hope i can see it in future WHMCS updates.

I need this too.

Actually, I use it editing the templates, but this is a pain when have updates.

A slight variation/enhancement of this request would be to set a different Priority based on the different Product Group. This would not be a Priority that the customer can assign, but one assigned by the system based on the Product Group that the Client has ordered. Say a Residential Product Group may have a priority of 1 and a Business Product Group a priority of 2. The latter having a higher priority due to the higher service levels offered. Escalations can then also be differentiated based on the different Department or Product Priority.
